It transmits the status (normal, open, short or alarm) of one zone of 2-wire detectors to the FACP. zone module supervises the zone of detectors and the connection of the external power supply. Description I-9403 Intelligent Sounder Strobe is an audible and visual alarm device installed in field, which can be activated by fire alarm control panel in fire control center. After activated, it will generate strong audible and visual alarm signal to warn people in field. A 25.5mm high shallow base and a 40mm high deep base are available. The sounder strobe comes with the shallow base. The deep base C-94DB should be ordered separately. Unless otherwise stated, all descriptions in this manual take the shallow base as example.
The 2 Ampere external power supply is compact with built-in charger. It may be connect to any 24 Volt Fire alarm control panel or may be stand- alone for the primary applications like Notification Appliance Circuit expansion or auxiliary power to support 24 Volt system accessories. It provides regulated and filtered 24 VDC power to NAC’s and it also contains a battery charger capable of charging up to 14 Ah batteries.
